💬 Como have been the better team this season, and they catch Leipzig at a good moment. Fabregas' side have won 10 of their last 17 games. They opened Serie A by winning 4-1 at Genoa and 2-1 at Napoli, which is real opposition, not padding. Como score more than 2 goals a game and let in just over a goal. Leipzig are a different team on the road. Away from home they have won four and lost four, letting in almost 2 goals a game. At home they have won all six and let in under a goal a game. They also arrive beaten 3-1 at Werder Bremen and short of bodies. Baumgartner, Reitz and Gebel are all out, and defender Lukeba is a doubt after missing that game. Como have had an extra day to get ready. This should be an open, stretched game with chances at both ends. Como take it 2-1, their pressing forcing the mistake that decides it. The worry is that Leipzig's away days swing hard. They have been beaten 1-4 at Freiburg and 1-4 at Leverkusen. They have also won four times on the road, so this could get away from Como quickly. Como have also been scoring more than their chances suggest, and that can dry up. We still want the home side.

💬 United keep scoring at home, and they keep leaving the back door open. That mix is what makes this one about goals. They have won six of their last seven at Old Trafford and score almost 3 goals a game there. They have also let in a goal in each of their last five home games. Those games went 5-2 with Ipswich, 3-2 with Forest, 3-2 with Liverpool, 2-1 with Brentford and 1-2 with Leeds. Eleven of United's last 14 games have had 3 or more goals. Sabah are not a soft touch. They have won 12 of their last 16 and let in under a goal a game. That record was built in Azerbaijan though, and against better teams away from home they lost 1-2 at Hapoel Beer Sheva and 1-2 at Aarhus. Mickels arrives off a hat trick, so there is a goal in them. The gap in level should tell, and we read this 3-1 to United with a late Sabah reply. That score is cutting it fine for a goals bet, so we want United still pushing once the game is won. The risk is a grind. Only 3 of Sabah's last 16 games have produced 4 or more goals, and a 2-0 or 3-0 against a deep block is very much on. United are four days off their last game and Carrick may change the team. We still want the busier game.

These two also cancel each other out. Estrela have not beaten Braga in seven meetings and four of those finished level. A 1-1 is the natural result here, with Braga holding the ball and Estrela digging in. The catch is Estrela's start to the season. All four of their league games have produced four or more goals: 2-2 with Sporting, 2-2 with Alverca, 3-2 with Nacional and 2-2 with Famalicao. The meetings with Braga have averaged just over 3 goals too. We still want the quiet game.
