How We Rate Online Casinos and Betting Sites
The Scorecard
Every casino and sportsbook on EightOdds is scored on the same six areas. No exceptions.
Sportsbook and Odds Quality
We check each sportsbook for market range, Asian Handicap availability and live in-play markets. Odds margins are tested across key football and cricket fixtures. A high score needs competitive margins and Asian Handicap available across major leagues.
Casino and Live Dealer
We look at game range (slots, live dealer, fishing games, 4D, crash games and table games) and game providers (Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, SA Gaming, JILI, PG Soft). We also check live dealer table limits, dealer language options and how games load on mobile.
Withdrawal Speed
We fund real accounts and time withdrawals through e-wallet, online banking and crypto. The score reflects how fast the money actually arrives. All three payment types are tested. A site that takes deposits fast but pays out slowly scores lower no matter how strong the other areas are.
Trust Score
We check each license directly with the licensing body (Curacao or Anjouan) before a brand appears on EightOdds. We also check player reviews on Trustpilot, Reddit and player forums across our markets. Repeated withdrawal complaints or account disputes lower the trust score. A valid license is required to appear on EightOdds. A clean public record improves the score.
Bonus Value
We look at welcome bonuses, reload offers and free bets on three things: headline offer size, wagering requirements and time limits. A big headline offer with a 40x wagering requirement and a 7-day expiry is not a strong bonus. We score on actual value, not the marketing number.
Mobile App
We test the mobile app (Android APK and iOS where available) and the mobile browser on connection speed, live dealer load time and deposit and withdrawal flow. Most players in Asia bet on a phone. A site that performs poorly on mobile scores lower no matter how it looks on desktop.
How Scores Add Up
Each area is scored from 0 to 10. The overall rating covers all six areas. Withdrawal Speed and Trust Score carry the most weight. A site with a great casino but slow payouts will score lower than a site with average games but fast, consistent withdrawals. Trust works the same way.
Rankings and Independence
No casino or sportsbook on EightOdds pays to rank higher. Scores come from the scorecard only. We list honest pros and cons for every brand, including withdrawal delays, limited market coverage and high wagering requirements. If a brand tests poorly, it gets a lower score regardless of size or reputation.
