How It Works

1
Head-to-Head
The last five meetings between the two teams are reviewed. Results and margins are checked against the current line.
2
Recent Form
The last five matches for each team. Goals scored, goals conceded and current run of results.
3
League Standings
Where each team sits in the table. Points gap and home or away record.
4
Line Value
The handicap and total lines are checked against the data. If the value is not there, no pick is posted.
5
Published
The pick goes live with the selection, odds at time of posting and a confidence rating.
6
Settled
When the match ends, the result is recorded automatically. Nothing is edited after kick-off.

Why AH and O/U

Asian Handicap and Over/Under are the two markets EightOdds covers. No other markets are used.

Asian Handicap removes the draw from the match. Every bet settles as a win or a loss. It is the most common way to bet on football across Asian markets and usually offers better value than a standard win-draw-win bet.

Over/Under is a bet on total goals. It does not depend on which team wins. That makes it a separate angle on the same match.

Picks come from leagues across Europe, Asia and South America. There is no single league focus. Leagues covered include:

  • Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1
  • Thai League 1, Indonesian Liga 1, V.League 1, Malaysian Super League, Philippine Football League
  • J League 1, K League 1, Chinese Super League
  • Brazilian Série A, Argentine Primera División
  • UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Copa Libertadores, AFC Champions League

The selection depends on where the data and line value are strongest that day.

Handpicked, Not Automated

Most football tips sites use algorithms to generate picks. EightOdds does not.

Every pick is reviewed before it goes live. The data is checked, the line is assessed and a decision is made. If the data does not support the pick, nothing is posted.

That means the number of picks changes day by day. Some days have more picks, some days fewer. The volume follows the data, not a schedule.

The Confidence Rating

Every tip is rated from one to five stars. The rating shows how much the data supports the pick.

A five-star pick is the pick with the most data behind it. A one-star pick still has data behind it but the edge is smaller. The Star Pick badge marks the top pick of the day.

The rating is a guide. Use it to understand how strongly each pick is supported before you decide.

The Track Record

Every settled tip is on the results page. The record shows the AH win rate, the O/U win rate and a monthly breakdown of wins, losses and pushes. Nothing is edited after a match ends. The result is recorded automatically and stays on the record.

Check the results page before you decide to follow the tips.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are tips picked?
Every tip starts with match data. Head-to-head record, recent form, league standings and line value are all checked before a pick is posted. If the data does not support the pick, nothing goes live.
Why only Asian Handicap and Over/Under?
These are the two markets EightOdds covers. Asian Handicap removes the draw from the match, which gives a cleaner result. Over/Under is based on total goals, not which team wins. Both markets are widely available across football worldwide.
What does the confidence rating mean?
Every tip is rated from one to five stars. The rating shows how much the data supports the pick. A five-star pick is the pick with the most data behind it. A one-star pick still has data behind it but the edge is smaller. The Star Pick badge marks the top pick of the day. The rating is a guide, not a guarantee.
How are results recorded?
When a match ends, the result is recorded automatically. Nothing is edited after kick-off. The record on the results page reflects exactly what happened.
Where can I see the track record?
The results page at /tips/results/ shows the full record. It includes the AH win rate, the O/U win rate and a monthly breakdown of wins, losses and pushes.
How many tips are posted each day?
The number changes depending on the match schedule and where the data is strongest. Some days have more picks, some days fewer. Tips are only posted when the data supports them.
Does EightOdds use an algorithm?
No. Every pick is reviewed before it goes live. The data is checked and a decision is made before anything is posted. If the data does not support the pick, nothing goes live.
