How Andar Bahar Works

The dealer places one card face up in the centre of the table. This is the house card. Players bet on either Andar (inside) or Bahar (outside) before any more cards are dealt.

Once bets are placed, the dealer deals cards one at a time, alternating between the Andar and Bahar piles. Dealing continues until a card appears that matches the rank of the house card. Suit does not matter. Only the rank must match.

Whichever pile receives the matching card wins. If the house card is black, the first card goes to Andar. If it is red, the first card goes to Bahar.
